Joe’s BackYard Band

Based in Edgewood, just south of Providence, the band started out in the dark winter months of 2007 playing afternoon living room shows for families, and quickly moved on to a much bigger stage just down the street at the William Hall Library. From there they’ve found their way to gigs at venues like Roots Cultural Center, Tazza, Firehouse 13, AS220 and Local 121, in parks, record stores, Veterans’ Memorial Amphitheater, the Providence Children’s Museum, AS220’s Foo Fest, The Green River Festival, The Regent Theatre, the Rhode Island State House and once in a while an actual back yard.
